Not everyone has smart TV bro. In my case, I have a non smart 3D tv. I have been using chromecast to stream content from mobile. Now bought this to directly stream it on TV. I think it's definitely useful for those without smart TV but have big screen!

Yes, i have Sony Smart TV at another place, in that only Netflix and Youtube are there for streaming. Can't download any other apps.
