To generate revenue Facebook have to telecast on satellite channels.As someone posted Sony’s response that they will telecast all matches from lst season it looks like they are in talks with Facebook.

Since Facebook acquired the rights it means that they bid more than Sony, Now If Sony wants the sublicense rights, definitely they would need to pay more to Facebook than what they offered directly to La Liga, would Sony do that?

Facebook can distibute these rights as Digital (OTT) and satellite(channels) separately eg: Hotstar, Amazon Prime,Sony Liv and on Sports channels like Sony ,Star Sports
Might even be Dsports

i personally prefer watching on dth in full hd without buffering

Logos : Suck, but we are tolerating due to their content.
Programming Schedule & priority: Sucks. WWE and Cricket dominate along with tennis these days on 10 channels excluding TEN Golf.
Transparency about rights:- Sucks. They are writing bullsh*t about football rights int heir Twitter feeds.

Definitely Facebook can redistribute these rights, but if any broadcaster would have wanted it, they could have taken it from La Liga itself.
