No idea yet about broadcast on tv but if it happens then it will dilute their viewership so I mostly think it won’t.

But you never know given the uniqueness of India and the streaming difficulties they might be forced to choose a tv partner.

Sony Pictures Sports Network retains La Liga broadcast rights for Indian Subcontinental regions. Confirmatory snap from broadcaster official twitter handle. 🙏
As per Wikipedia Sony's Laliga and all football rights was for 2015-2018.In this snap they said only about this year. Means now they don't have rights or started for rights towards next year.

I think broadcast on TV will continue since India or Indians is not fully affordable for digital streaming. If FB gets money from selling TV rights to others then dilution of viewers doesn't matters.TV can reach some people where digital can't and viceversa

i hate watching on computer bro . i have limited internet access .. hmmm :sneaky::sneaky:
i hope star sports gets the rights some day soon , they had it before in 2014
May be they will buy La liga. But they are not aggressive in International football. They are eyeing towards cricket in Srilanka, South Africa, Pakistan which will end on 2020 from Sony.
