Hello DDF bros.. Can anyone help me to know the difference between Dolby Atmos & Dolby Digital Plus. And its speaker channel numbers ??

Dolby Digital Plus, also known as Enhanced AC-3 (and commonly abbreviated as DD+ orE-AC-3, or EC-3) is a digital audio compression scheme developed by Dolby Labs for transport and storage of multi-channel digital audio. Normally 5.1 sound

Now , Dolby Atmosphere {ATMOS}
Dolby Atmos is a new audio format for creating and playing back multichannel movie soundtracks. It was developed to give movie sound a more three-dimensional effect. Traditional 5.1- and 7.1-channel surround setups deliver captivating sound using speakers placed all around your room. Dolby Atmos takes this to another level with speakers to create a "height" layer of sound above the listener.
For Dolby Atmosphere u will also need it's capable receiver/sound bar {it's mostly costly than 5.1 setup}

Next time post in proper thread,
I request admin please move it's in correct section.
