Fun fact: BSNL is the only provider to have a 3300 GB (3.3 TB) FUP limit on AirFiber, whereas Airtel and Jio provides 1000 GB (1 TB) FUP limit.

BSNL Air Fiber Tariffs

My relatives friend installed BSNL Air fiber using 100's meters cable for getting signals in a jungle like place... probably it's 3G...

BSNL providing airfiber within limited area of their telephone exchanges with old wimax technology and CPE is too costly.

You're right. Because BSNL uses PtP (point to point) wireless technology for their AirFiber service, it's availability is not that great, unlike Airtel and Jio AirFiber which relies on 5G FWA with greater availability.

It’s only viable in areas where the wired connectivity is unavailable, like @Mr.Bhat mentioned dense forest or villages with no 4G/5G connectivity.
