Clicking "Learn more" took me to this: The Disney Bundle & Your Hotstar US subscription - Hotstar

Pros
  • More Indian content on mainstream American services (e.g., Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and now Hulu). Currently, some Indian films are exclusive to Hotstar and most people in the US do not subscribe to Hotstar.
  • It is possible the streaming quality will be improved, although there are no guarantees.
Cons
  • Ads. The standard plans include annoying, repetitive ads.
  • More expensive. The ad-free Hulu version is USD $11.99/mo and the ad-free Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN+ bundle is $19.99/mo. ESPN+ is $6.99/mo or $69.99/year.
  • Watermarks. All Hulu streams display an ugly, obtrusive watermark through the entire content that cannot be turned off. This has potential adverse effects on OLED displays that have burn-in risk.

2nd point in the Pros— you mentioned that streaming quality can be increased.

but all the Hotstar content is uploaded in FHD only. Even Sadak 2, Grahan, november story which are available in 4K dolby vision 5.1 in hotstar are uploaded in just FHD and stereo 😒

For those who are interested to see the content which will be available starting today and in the future, here are some useful links. It is interesting Hotstar continually refers to the Disney Bundle, but not Hulu or ESPN+. I wonder if the content will still be available to those who subscribe to either Hulu or ESPN+ separately, without the bundle.

Hotstar Specials that will eventually be available with The Disney Bundle
Movies that will eventually be available with The Disney Bundle
TV Shows that will eventually be available with The Disney Bundle
Tournaments that will eventually be available with The Disney Bundle

No Malayalam movies and TV shows in the list 🤔

Good point! Asianet is rather successful, so it's strange that it's not included in the lists. Someone with Hulu access can clarify whether the content is available on the platform or not, as there is no option to browse the content without signing in.

I haven't seen any Asianet show yet, but don't worry they will add each and every title present on Hotstar U.S. service. Disney has confirmed that additional movies and series episodes will be added in future.

ESPN+ in USA is telecasting IPL in 720P but 60FPS. Where as WILLOW tv is telecasting in 1080P but in 23fps. Which one to prefer?
