CWI is yet to find a host broadcaster after Sony Ten decided to not renew their media rights contract late 2019.

Don't really understand what Sony is upto then. They're giving up SA and WI rights and going for the less precious SL rights...

India not to tour south africain August.. Hence the broadcast rights in SA hangs in balance..Star may not go ahead with SA rights
SL rights will be a tussle between Sony and 1 sprts

Isn't Sony operates sports channels in Sri Lanka? May be that's the reason they are going for them.
