I am currently receiving a unknown FM station on 88.8Mhz its continuously playing movie songs( looks like a test station). Can someone from chennai confirm what station is it? Signal not so good.

I am not getting it bro. I am from Velachery. Are you getting this channel all the times or during a specific time? If you are getting this channel during night time only,then chances are there that it could be some outstation channel. Usually outstation channels will be received during night only.

Also few colleges like Anna University, DG Vaishnav have FM broadcast during specific timings.. not sure about their frequency and timing....

Anna University is 90.4 and there is an FM for Loyola college and MOP but not sure about frequency.

But in this 88.8 frequency, as per SatVijay, they are playing songs. So it could not be a social FM.
