BSNL 5G sim is available in the HP state, it looks like the network will be rolled out in test phase in the coming months most likely on December. As per my BSNL exchange employee told, the 4G or 5G enable network is enable once official announcement will be only seen in early 2025. The plans for 5G is similar like 5G with no unlimited data.

The flagship Samsung S22 model will use high network frequency band with mimo feature 2x2 that's why signal receiving or sending will be higher than mid-range model.
Its "data switching backup calling" option enable.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is planning to provide 5G services to its customers by Sankranthi festival next year. “BSNL is making arrangements to upgrade the 4G services to the next level and offer quality services,” said principal general manager (PGM-Krishna district) L. Focus on 4G rollout first. 5G can wait. Most of the places there is only 3G HSPA+ network which is not satisfactory in these days. Sometimes the network freezes and becomes unresponsive untill switching off & on the airplane mode.

Where there is 4G no VoLTE is there. Where there is VoLTE the call quality is so bad that users are compelled to turn off VoLTE & use the 2G-3G network for calling.

Without resolving these issues first there is no use of launching 5G… That too is NSA mode 5G. It will be a gimmick. Just launch proper 4G VoLTE network all over India with reasonable price it would be highly helpful for middle to low income group people who couldn’t afford Jio-Airtel-Vi services after exorbitant price hike & thus serve the country as it should as a PSU.
