Hmm. 4G in January, 5G in August.
They will beat Jio's speed of rollout if this ever becomes true.
I'm not getting BSNL '4G' despite getting a 4G SIM in Kerala, and then they plan '5G' rollout.

I m currently using bsnl and getting 4G outside jammu (village akhnoor and my native village manwal). Speed is remarkably good

BSNL really works in these remote area where no other network is available. They focused on those areas primary my friend from Assam enjoy BSNL 4G.

BSNL to be allotted Rs 62,000 crore spectrum for 5G rollout

Officials said a committee of DoT has approved a proposal to give a 10 MHz block in the premium 700 MHz spectrum band worth about ₹40,000 crore along with 70 MHz in the mid-band (3600 MHz to 3670 MHz) worth about ₹22,000 crore to BSNL for 5G.
