Band 28 (700 MHz) - 5 MHz → ~37 Mbps (Download)

Band 8 (900 MHz) - 6.2 MHz → ~45 Mbps (Download)

Band 3 (1800 MHz) - 1.2 MHz → ~10 Mbps (Download)

Band 1 (2100 MHz) - 5 MHz → ~37 Mbps (Download)

Band 41 (2500 MHz) - 20 MHz → ~150 Mbps (Download)

Factors That Affect Real-World Speeds:

1. Network congestion: More users reduce speed.
2. Carrier aggregation: If BSNL combines multiple bands, speeds increase.
3. Signal strength & distance from the tower: Weak signals reduce speed.

Since B41 (2500 MHz) has 20 MHz bandwidth, it offers the highest speed (~150 Mbps in ideal conditions). However, B28 (700 MHz) provides better coverage but lower speed (~37 Mbps).

Jio has approximately 5.32 lakh 4G LTE network base stations.

The speed of BSNL towers is too slow compared to the hype it has created.

By this time, they should have added 1.5 lakh towers

BSNL used 700MHz 4G band, This band offers wider coverage and stronger penetration than higher-frequency bands, as its signals can travel further and can penetrate buildings more effectively.

Band 1 have total 10 MHz. 5 MHz allocated for 4G & after closing of BSNL 3G, 5 MHz BW will be added to 4G.
