Samsung uses Exynos processor,the same processor is used in high end Samsung phones like S6,S6 edge,note 5 etc and it's a strong processor that's why J7 doesn't lag even on playing high end games like Nova 3,Mortal Combat X,Asphalt 8 etc with just 1.5 GB RAM :k

Exynos is not a processor,it is a chipset designed by Samsung.J7 has Exynos 7580 chipset with Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processors which gives almost the performance of Snapdragon 615 chipset meanwhile S6 edge has Exynos 7420 with Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57 processors that definetely gives S6 more performance than J7.So they dont have same performance and abilities.Do u understand the difference now??

@shawl_who, If you can spend 14999, you can go for Moto g3. It has clean UI and good performance. If you are looking at a below 10000 budget, check out Meizu M2 once.

My opinion is not to buy any smartphone that is running on Android Lollipop coz all of them have some sort of issues or bugs.My humble suggestion is to wait untill Marshmallow hits the budget segment.So if u have an option of waiting for some more time then,plz wait for some more time.I'm saying this from my personal experience so plz don't ignore my opinion. :tup

I never said that J7 performs equal to S6 :no,if there is price difference of about 25 -30K then definitely S6 will perform much better than J7 but still at price point of 15K it's a very good buy,yeah I mispelled exynos as processor instead of chipset ,and shawl bro asked that he wants phone for his mother,so J7 has all the capabilities that a user normally wants especially amoled display,good battery backup etc,he normally asked for a good buy so I didn't find any necessity to copy all the figures including clock speed,chipset models to explain difference between J7,S6 etc :k,and J7 will be updated sooner or later to marshmallow
