MUMBAI: The stage is set for the BCCI media rights e-auction on 3 April with Star India and Sony Pictures Networks India once again locking horns with each other to bag the coveted rights.

Apart from Star and Sony, Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio, Facebook, Google, and YuppTV are also contenders for the rights. While Star and Sony are expected to bid for the consolidated rights, the other four players are believed to be in the fray for the digital rights.

Star Sports first created keeping in mind the DD free dish and to cut ad revenues of DD channels during match .that's why star sports first is little behind the other star channels .
But Star Sports First should try some live content.

Most customer of DD free dish comes from villages where people are totally free ( maximum family ) so they don't mind watching highlights to do their time pass.no body cares for quality in DD free dish as it is free service .
