I just noticed that for a 3 ODI match series being played in India, Australia sends a 14 member squad and India selects a 16 member squad.

Personally I think Australia did it correct because I think they have clarity in what should be the best starting 11 and then 3 backups. Don't know what Indian selectors are thinking - won't be surprised if they are selecting 2 or 3 players just for the sake of selecting.
