1.rahul, rayudu,kartik given enough chances out of that rahul is big failure.he can't even achieve what vijay shankar achieved.
2.Those who prefer rahul and pant may be from their state i guess
rayudu average speaks for himself.kartik did better in second innings and in death overs.
pant didn't prove himself in odi so far and not played enough odis so far.
Rahul and pant have very little chance unless msk prasad select rahul for known reasons.

@id_866 bro first of all opening is a specialist job only who does opening on all regular basis will do that
Secondly if somebody prefers a particular player that doesn't mean the player from their state so please stops that kind of mentality we all r indians first and one more point none of the top order player comes from my state
U r saying karthik plays well in second innings correct that means u wanted to say that for karthik sake india will always bats second and about rayadu average doesn't matter in how many matches he played impactful innings
About Pant if he had given regular opportunity like it had given in test matches he would definitely did justice to it or like the opportunities given to karthik on a regular basis

I feel pant has very little time to make the cut, but feel shud ve given min 2 matches this series(His problem is he think to every ball for a 6 or a 4 whichs practically impossible he needs to corrects this approach) .
Rahul most probably ll make the cut if compared with Karthik who's 1 dimensional in Odi's till now which ll play huge part against him. Like he ll only be gud do far finishing the match in tight situations or score some quick runs in T20s batting 1st, whereas Rahul capable of playing long innings & build an inngs which ll go in favour of him.
But the race s not yet over its Rahul Vs Karthik Vs Pant Vs 1 fast bowler(outside chance). All 14 other slots were almost sealed.

Me not telling to have him in team that's what selectors/management feels. That's why he s in the team? He s a class player, can't write him off with 1 rough patch? He may/may not have a good career but has potential. That's why everyone backing him.
