A Brazilian court on Thursday fined Apple Inc 100 million reais ($19 million) and ruled that battery chargers must come with new iPhones sold in the country.

We should also ask for it. They are including type C to lightning cable, while most people with older charger has USB A port . So it is indirectly forcing people to buy the charger seperately.
This is not a step to help the environment, it is to help their balance sheets.
