Apple has just been fined €10 million (about $12 million) in Italy because of the way it advertises water resistance for its devices.

Italy's antitrust authority doesn't like how "aggressive and misleading" Apple's commercial practices are, regarding its iPhones and their water resistance ratings. The regulator said in a statement that Apple advertises iPhones as water resistant without clarifying that they are only so under certain circumstances.

Apple took a risky decision when it removed the charger and EarPods from the new iPhone boxes. So when you buy a new iPhone from Apple, you get only the iPhone unit and the Lightning cable. This applies to all markets except France where the local law mandates smartphone companies to ship earphones, including Apple. Now, Brazil has ruled that Apple must provide the new iPhone units with a charger to the buyers of the country, marking the second instance against Apple’s new ‘initiative’.

I don't think people who spent a huge amount on mobile will be greedy at the adapter. Might just buy apple adapter for 2k.

Bro, what you have said is correct, but not going to happen. Reverse may actually happen, like say if you use apple's charger (sold seperately) and use it with iPhone 12 and if your battery got damaged within warranty period, Apple may say, "you used third party accessory and hence you may need to pay". Because, it is Apple, they can get away from anything, literally anything.

In a note to investors on Friday, Kuo says Apple has no plans to develop significant upgrades for its iPhone lens systems in 2021 or 2022.First introduced with iPhone 12 last year, the 7P lens stack sits atop the wide angle camera module to increase light gathering capabilities and cut down on chromatic aberrations. Compared to the previous f/1.8 6P array, the current assembly performs at an f/1.6 aperture equivalent.

Apple saw “the largest number of upgraders that we’ve ever seen in a quarter.” CFO Luca Maestri and Cook both said they believe there was some amount of pent-up demand for the iPhone 12 lineup as it’s the first smartphones from the company with 5G support and some people have likely been holding out on upgrading their iPhone until recently.
