Apple had reduced the prices of the accessories not included in box i.e. EarPods and the new 20W charger which replaced the 18W charger.

Apple's website encourages customers to use their existing Apple power adapter and headphones or buy these accessories separately, and to help offset the cost, Apple has lowered the price of its EarPods with a Lightning connector from $29 to $19. Apple's new 20W power adapter for iPhones also retails for $19, down from $29 for its now-discontinued 18W power adapter that was included with the iPhone 11 lineup until now.

The notch will remain till iPhone 13 Series. After that they'll go for Under-Display.

The notch was supposed to become smaller compared to existing iPhone X and 11 series phones from the past 3 years, but it seems not. Also, the iPhone 13 will have it too.

yeah.. and Type-C isn't coming..
in the upcoming iPhones (not necessity iPhone 13) they'll make it completely port-less and might make MagSafe the primary way of charging.
