New Delhi: After launching attacks on a number of websites in protest against Internet censorship, hacker group Anonymous Operation India is planning a more traditional way of protest.
Anonymous India announced its plans in an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) press conference and also posted a YouTube video to promote the protest. In the press conference, Anonymous India claimed hacking into Reliance Communication's servers and accessed a list of URLs blocked by the ISP that also allegedly includes Facebook profiles of protesting Air India pilots.
Anonymous India also accused the Indian media of deliberately ignoring its operations. The hackers also released details of other hacking attacks (Read the transcript here)

.

"We are starting our nation wide active protest this coming June 9th. Get a mask. Join the protest," an Anonymous India member chatting under the handle BitMentor, posted in the IRC.
"The constitution gives us the right to peaceful protest and so we shall. There is nothing to fear, this protest will be peaceful," the YouTube video's description says and urges Indian Internet users to change your display pictures on Facebook and Twitter to the Anonymous image.

see what happens

They even hacked Big Cinemas site and they were able to see all the credit card details of customers but they said they don't want to hurt people because they are doing this for people

Well hacking is a crime, India Govt. should take approprate steps for it just like USA Govt.

Our STUPID Gov deserve this....They don't have rights to censor internet

That's true, our polices too use pirated copies.

Hacking is not a correct way....
Though they are not harming people this time...
but what if some of them gets lured by such activity & will try to get money out of this hacking...
They should stop doing this.
This will let down image of India also. :c

I am also against internet censorship.... :nj

Ya you're right.....Big Cinemas staff need to fix there servers

Well it is a difficult task to save a site from hacking but better to control those hackers who hack public sites and we loose our hard work.

This is why we should not store our Credit card details on any of such websites.
If you use netsafe secure cards, these kind of attack will never make you any harm.
