Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.
Jayalalithaa today announced
distribution of Amma mobile phones to
trainers of women's self-help groups.
Making this announcement in the
state assembly, Jayalalithaa said in the
first phase, 20,000 mobile phones at an
outlay of Rs.15 crore would be
distributed.
She said the women's self-help group
trainers have to keep records of
membership subscription, savings,
loans and recoveries.
Jayalalithaa said a software in Tamil
will be developed enabling to record
the above data and a computerised
mobile phone will be distributed to the
women's self-help group trainers.
The Amma mobile phone scheme is
the latest of the several Amma
branded schemes implemented in the
state like Amma cement, Amma
mineral water, Amma canteen and

good update bro and i yesterday see the news in paper that our post office tie up with mobile company ( company's add in noida ) and our post office sell mobile phone also.
the price of mobile is 2000/- with 2 sim slot,+ whatsaap + wifi + net etc etc feature also available.
and main point is that if u purchase mobile phone 2000 rs. & they give 2000/-rs. talk-time also.( necessary is u use bsnl sim card ).

Which one is innovative bro? They cheating the peoples of Tamilnadu. Who is asking mobile phone? Everybody have 1+ mobile phones. Do you know what will next? They will deal with some manufacturer and some scam will rise. The politicians, officials will seek percentage from companies. By this scheme the politicians and officials will get money. Don't you know the current status of free TV scheme? In every home we have two more damaged tv sets. They are doing this for election purpose only. Shame politicians, lazy people. Government making the citizens lazy and beggars
