Breaking Amazon increasing the cost of Prime Membership in India

Flipkart literally offering it's plus membership at free of cost which also provides free deliveries. And for Amazon pantry, you have to buy at least items of 799 worth for getting free deliveries.

Yes but they don't provide premium OTT content, ad free music, free e-books and I don't see one/two day delivery usually either for my place. For pantry/grocery, Amazon ships their products packed from different cities mostly while Flipkart delivers them directly from local warehouse without packaging so they save some cost and grocery delivery charge is applicable from plus members too. Prime members are charged half delivery for pantry orders.

Flipkart "free delivery" products has cost included.

On sales. Some products are always priced ₹20 - ₹40 more than the Amazon's price. So free delivery is not truly a free delivery.

Meanwhile this price hike is directly related to petrol and diesel prices. Shipping cost has increased.

I think the prices r related to the seller too....1 example..
A seller from Chennai provides Diabliss diabetic sugar all India basis...As I seen this is the only seller for this product from years..Amazon charging Rs 266/-
Flipkart charging rs 238/-..
I can give many products prices which r less in flipkart...

But the above-average price on Flipkart too is around Rs269.

That is what I am saying. I only need free deliveries with prime videos. So I will not renew again if price hike.
I also get most of the items from Flipkart much faster than Amazon prime in my area. Even Ecom/Delivery also delivers much faster than ekart/ats in my area.
