Even mine updated yesterday. It showed a notification that I can say something like "Alexa, show me movies playing near me". But it's not working. If it's working for someone else, please let me know.

Doesn’t your Phone need IR Blaster for that or is there another way?

There is no need of it blaster I works fine for me over wifi connection. I used it with redmi note 5 it s working fine for me

I contacted customer care and they said that they'll push the update with Alexa from Mid November and I got the 5.2.6.7 update on 21st October

• Adds new "Device Usage Data" privacy setting
• Consolidates privacy options into new "Privacy Settings" menu under Preferences
• Renames "Device" settings menu to "My Fire TV"
