When you compare with Chromecast, Fire stick wins. But my question is whether this is better than Re tv... The website of Re tv doesn't show comparison with fire stick.

Yes! Keep ur Phone and Stick under same Network.
install Apps to Fire (Developer Koni) from playstore and u can cast apps from phone to tv.

*Personally not tested though*

If you have chrome cast u may know that Phone is very much necessary to use Chromecast but In case of Firestick, phone not needed.

Firestick Consume lot's of Data....
last night I forgot to switched off the firetv adapter from power socket and As usual I forgot to deactivate the hotspot ... and 1 GB Data wasted during night time... because of Youtube autoplay Was swiched 'ON'....

With chrome cast one thing is best that it don't buffer much even with 1mbps speed after few second its run smooth but in fire stick even with 5mbps speed some time it's buffer with some video streaming app except prime video.

Amazon prime videos works very well with slow net.
Youtube, hotstar need stronger Net Connection.
