Guys, I have not gone through all the discussions in this thread. I have just ordered a Amazon thick and also have a chromecast. I just want to know can I cast a video from mobile just like I cast on chrome cast without mirroring. I mean casting videos that I have taken from my phone or downloaded videos with mirroring.

It's working for me

Install Twonky (available at fire store) in stick and BubbleUpnp app on mobile. Now u are able to cast any local music,photo, video,web video to your stick

I have just installed the fire stick. I have an amazon prime yearly subscription. I have logged in on Amazon while installing fire stick. But when I go to watch any prime video it says 'Get Heera on Amazon channel'. When I tried that it says pay xyz for 7 days or 30 days. Do I have to pay again even if I have an amazon yearly subscription?
