Please go the settings section and look for My fire stick,then you will find ABOUT click on that,in the last you find software update. Please update your software of firestick. My firestick is updated and now optimising.

Tested again now that you said. All good. front page banner, prime video itself.
Yesterday night it stopped working for a minute or two. Was watching elementary on prime.
