If its was then they itself has started the live tv on hotstar for premium subscriber but hotstar tweeter handle clearly told hotstar is not a live tv app its specially available for jio subscriber and tata sky so its all depend on contract so thats why bcoz of contract with jio and tatasky they have not started live tv on their on own app.

Chromecast was available before too in old app but only movie u can cast not live tv
