airtel will postpone hike for7or 10 days.
Expecting new tariff hike from 6th Dec2021.
This way they can gain more revenue and also knows Loyalty level of there existing base.
I am thinking this because vi yet to announce new tariff
And i am sure vi will make blanket blunder by providing same hike in all22 circle. instead they should do hike only in top 6or 16 circle where vi service is usable, leveing CATegoey C circle at lower tariff to justify no investment/lower investment in capex means low revenue from cheaper tariff.
Bro, there is one hack. Buy recharges as vouchers, which has no limits. I once had 250 or so vouchers (all bought by using Rs50 discount coupons). Another plus point of vouchers is, you can later transfer that to any one. I am looking for buying a dozen Rs1499 vouchers for my family member's future use.
.
I believe that the only way to use the main balance to buy plan 79 is to wait for your current plan's validity to end.
Once the validity ends, you will be given 3 days of Outgoing 'grace validity', during which the main balance will be debited for any outgoing calls. During these 3 days, you can opt-in to have the main balance deducted for the 79 plan, by dialing USSD *567*79#.
If your validity (and grace period) has already ended, or even if you still have existing validity, you can try dialing that USSD code anyway, and see if it works.
Airtel used to allow recharging the 23 plan (later it became the 45 plan, which is now the 79 plan) via the USSD menus under *121#. It was also possible to have the Airtel Thanks app to deduct from main balance for Smart Recharges and Data Packs. But both those options (USSD and via Airtel Thanks) were withdrawn when 45 was hiked to 79.
Remember the olden days, when we had to recharge every month for validity? Then someone went mental and introduced Lifetime Incoming validity. That was stopped after a few years. Then came the 'Booster Packs'. Then came the 'Smart(!?) Packs'.
Looking at the trajectory this has taken over the past decade and a half, it looks to me like we have come a full circle now.
Every telecom was like, " More users, more users. We want more users. Switch to our network ". Well, after they did have more users, they started whining about ARPU. And have since kept hiking prices.
I wonder when the cycle would start again. May be after all the telecoms have implemented and stabilized their 5G networks? May be someone will go mental again and dramatically reduce prices?
Open my jio app tap the three horizontal lines in top left corner there you can find voucher option tap it there tap buy option then recharge plans will reflect check the appropriate plan then buy & get it use it whenever it require
