A little off-topic, I am baffled at reading some posts of members having multiple sim cards. What exactly is the purpose of having more than 1 number please? And that too of the same mobile operator

Bro not all the time you can give your primary number whenever a person or something else asks for . From bank/Aadhar related security to avoiding unnecessary telemarketing message/calls , two Sims are necessary

for office use 1 prepaid with lots of incoming calls are necessary, for banking/ adhar differnt sim urgent, for lots of outgoing 1 sim is needed, for home - 1 for old age mummy and 1 for old age dad is needed, if anybody is married & having kids- then wife need 1 sim urgent, if son/daughter is in college or going for tution then also 1 sim needed, now u calculate !!!!

I use primary SIM which is linked with everything and is shared with close family members only and give second sim number for everything else.
