No never. If it was true then what is the purpose of ₹35,₹65... recharges. Besides that I had an experience of this auto debit scheme and lost ₹24.Actually i asked them is there any auto debit? But they said no auto detection. Maintaining of minimum 24rs is enough to keep sim alive.

Bro, be aware of such uneducated Customer Care staff. They are unqualified, low-paid staff hired by such telcos to save cost. I dont want to demean anyone, but its the sad truth. I have spoken to Airtel and Vodafone Customer Care and it clearly shows their (in)competence w.r.t Customer Care. More than half of the time, they are not aware of the information - I am 100% sure our friends at DDF know much more than any Customer Care.Actually i asked them is there any auto debit? But they said no auto detection. Maintaining of minimum 24rs is enough to keep sim alive.
