Hi TJ_DJ bro, I have already Followed the above procedure of *111# and *444# But sadly there's no option to activate combo plans using main account balance. I got the option press 1 if interested when selecting 35,65 and 95rs plans when pressed 1 I got notification Please visit nearest Vodafone outlet to activate this offer. Then I tweeted this to Vodafone team.. they called back and said you can't activate combo plans using main account balance .. you have to recharge with 35/65/95 to get the benefits. But you can activate unlimited plans using main account balance like 199rs 28days validity or 399rs 84 days validity etc.
Hi @rajrocks bro, is your Outgoing Validity active? Vodafone has said that we can activate these plans from Main Balance only when Outgoing Validity is active. If it has already expired, then we may do so only using Recharge (online or voucher).

Airtel is thinking of raising the floor limit to Rs 50 shortly.

Any idea on what is the fate of 3G phones? I have a couple of phones that are 3G only, and I sometimes use them as backup phones, or a situation when I need to use them as HotSpot. The 3G speed is good enough for browsing, messaging, social media, and does the work without need of a 4G phone.

As far as 3G is concerned, the shutdown will be faster, which means by March 2020 there will be no 3G, the company official said. Currently, also the 2100 MHz 3G spectrum is being used for 4G services and 3G subscribers are being rapidly moved to 4G.

In the report above airtel clearly state that they will shutdown 3G in mach 2020. Voda/idea will follow soon. Jio does not have 3G so only option left is BSNL who will never close 2G/3G atleast until 2040

recd call from vodafone social network team. validity extension pack (35/65/95/145/225) can't be activated via main balance but 24rs pack can be (*444*24# which i also did last evening when no choice left). as per them they are working to enable validity extension via balance means they are least interested in doing so.

Exactly the same they told me .. I'll also go for 24rs pack or maybe I'll choose 36rs sms pack 500sms for 30days validity.

As a last option, dial *121# and see the list of Offers available for your number. Vodafone is giving Rs 35 or Rs 95 pack to some users as an offer from the *121# menu as well.
