You cannot receive balance after porting as it is different operator. Aircel will not pay anything to airtel/voda/bsnl so why should airtel/voda/bsnl credit your account ?
Someone mentioned as if forcefully shutdown the operator. They should provide vouchers or coupons on our forum

Are u sure ?? Pls check below post 👇👇

Its TRAI direction to balance transfer to port in network due to sudden shutdown

Like we saw recently one dth transfer their user balance to another dth by mutual agreement

Today port Vodafone from Aircel activated..Balance lapsed(Checked Aircel application) Vodafone is not costlier but good speed than others.

Rule is there definitely and TRAI directed Rcom to give prepaid mobile balance but as usual RCom refused and it's expected as there are other parties who are also waiting for refund from Rcom and they have no money left so from where will they give money ?

So i guess it's same with aircel, they don't have money to pay salary to 6000 staffs along with tower rent, network/IT partners rent leave along bank loan , Aircel not even paid idea cellular for interconnect and you are expecting refund.

Im answering just ur post saying abt normal port scenario below to this shutdown case 👇👇

If aircel give or not ?? I'm expecting or not ?? Employee will give salary or not are different debate. Only aircel MD will comment on these questions

What I told his there is a rule in shutdown cases & one of our ddf member got balance that's it

Btwn for money transfer they no need fresh fund already aircel users having balance they just transferring that's it like i already explained recent dth scenario

Well I am actually not wrong according to what you have highlighted in bold letters. That bold letters are correct word by word, you cannot receive balance if you port and that's the law. You have to use all your balance before applying port for example try porting from airtel to BSNL. You will never get airtel balance in BSNL. That's what is highlighted by you.

BTW they actually need to transfer fund to other operator else other operator will not credit account of ported subscribers and with mounting losses that money(what customers already paid and showing as digit on mobile screen) is already gone to loss, It's not lying in aircel bank account, so they need to arrange fresh money to pay other operator

@Sarkar @Gobinaath but I have received balance after porting from Virgin Mobile(Tata DoCoMo CDMA) to Tata DoCoMo GSM.

It'a a different issue bro as one arm of a company is transferring their business to other arm. You will also see Idea balance will remain after Vodafone merger or telenor/Tata docomo balance will get credited to airtel.

But in aircel case problem is they don't have cash to pay so it's hard to get money back

Exactly for Normal port its correct i didn't said it's wrong bro :)

But What Im coming to say is @telugurocks asked abt forcefully port out from aircel(i guess) so if means ur explained on normal port T&C's

But if @telugurocks asked abt normal port means apologize from my side :)

So now ball is in @telugurocks court ;)

That's the problem, they are not in a normal situation to refund money if they were then they would definitely refund, but i hope they do that otherwise people like us suffers.

Problem with our current shutdown law is that it assume the company will be in a financially good health to return customers money before shutting down operation but in reality it will never happen as company only shutdown when they are financially weak.
