Further good news to an already positive-sounding AFC U-16 Championships that kicks off on 15th September in Goa, as India's matches will be LIVE on TV
The Tournament Director of the AFC U-16 Championships, Mr. Javier Ceppi, has revealed that Star network have agreed to telecast India’s games against UAE, Saudi Arabia and Iran on television. The tournament will start onThursday, 15th September.

It is a fantastic piece of news for football fans across India, especially after it was announced that the Goan fans would get to watch the games for free in the stadiums; as they would get a glimpse into the talented and much-coveted Indian team that is preparing for the U-17 World Cup to be held in India in 2017.

The matches can be viewed on Star Sports network. India’s match schedule is as follows,

GROUP A:

Match 1: India vs United Arab Emirates – 15th September 7 pm IST (Fatorda Stadium, Margao)

Match 2: Saudi Arabia vs India – 18th September 7 pm IST (Fatorda Stadium, Margao)

Match 3: India vs Iran – 21st September 7 pm IST (Fatorda Stadium, Margao)
