Does this mean that full 13 5G band support proved to be worthless?
See ideally every 2G band apart from band 3 could be used for 3G and every 3G band could be used for 4G, the same way every 4G band is usable for 5G and will be so in the long run, so if your handset supports 13 bands for 5G then it's at an advantage over handsets which only support 5G on n78. So just like 900 and 1800 MHz bands were the face of 2G and 2100 MHz was the face of 3G in India 3.5 GHz will be the face of 5G but that doesn't mean that the other bands won't eventually convert to 5G.

Now handsets with band 28 have an advantage over band 78 like band 5 in 4G VoLTE HD voice quality.

In next three years, only band 78, band 28 and mmWave is going to be 5G only bands. 600Mhz is not even have a name for it. So nobody purchased. It's all about 4G+ for next two years. Get good 3CA or 4CA phone with Airtel/Vi whichever is better at your place, and you will fine. 5G will be hype and won't be available beyond cities. But again 10GB/day for 5g is essential or 500GB data atleast needed for postpaid 499 plan. Otherwise its not good.

No. Adani can create new faster 5G network with his money, rather than buying inconsistent Vi or risky BSNL data network.
Not really possible. He has diversified business. Can't just focus on Telecom even with expertise. Jio had dedicated expertise for his network rollout and it went on for two years day and night. And still going on as it is not enough because all three operators are close to non existent in some way or other. BSNL has infrastructure(now that merger of BBNL+BSNL is approved) and Vi has spectrum in common bands of BSNL. This Make in India won't be fruitful at all. So merging these two things and giving to Adani was better choice in my opinion. But Adani won't buy at current valuation. Adani even had a talks with Vodafone for their stake, but talks were not fruitful for obvious reasons.
