Airtel ka Overhead Fiber LCO ( Sub Vendor) operate karta hain. Aur Underground Fiber Airtel directly operate karta hain

T: Airtel's overhead fiber is operated by LCO (sub vendor). And the underground fiber is operated by Airtel directly.

Airtel ko sab jagah underground fiber daalna chahiye aur khud operate karna chahiye. Airtel ke charges high hain as comparison to other local brand Excitel, Hathway. Ek toh airtel ke charges high hain aur upar se LCO ke through service de raha hain. Ye toh galat baat hain. Fir local aur Airtel mein farak kya reh gya

T: Airtel should lay underground fiber everywhere and operate it itself. Airtel's charges are high as compared to other local brands Excitel, Hathway. Airtel's charges are high and on top of that it is providing service through LCO. This is wrong. Then what is the difference between local and Airtel?

Yeah, doesn't make any sense here either. And this too is actually near the place where garbage is thrown.
My bad!

I never looked at the other side of the road. They have another FAT box about 100m far. 😂😂😂

I guess they can provide the connection from there? It is on the other side of the road though. JioFiber and other ISPs are also having on that side, but their FAT box is like 30-50m far.

Airtel Putting Lots Of Pressure On Distributors For AirFiber, Few Of My Close Distributors Left Already
Are they completely stopping wired fiber connections?
I am extremely happy with my current provider but would like to switch to airtel wired fiber only before this happens.

Airtel LCO ke through fiber service expand kar raha hain. Phle pta kar lena tumare area mein jo Airtel ka fiber aaya hain vo LCO ke through aaya hain ya directly Airtel ke through. Underground fiber Airtel directly Airtel operate karta hain. Overhead fiber LCO operate karta hain

T: Airtel is expanding its fiber service through LCO. First find out whether the Airtel fiber that has come to your area has come through LCO or directly through Airtel. Underground fiber is operated by Airtel directly. Overhead fiber is operated by LCO.

I don't understand your dislike of Airtel's Fiber expansion through the LCO model. I mean Airtel manage the installation and customer services themselves even in the LCO operated areas.

In case you don't know, LCO only does the mainline construction and maintenance part. Airtel does proper verification and power check before making the area feasible and starting the service there.

About the underground or overhead fiber debate - It shouldn't matter to a customer as long as they get satisfactory services. Due to underground digging and overhead pole to pole cable regulations in bigger cities, many existing fiber feasible areas are even removing fiber cables. You can read this thread to understand more about this problem: Discussion - Unregulated optical fiber cables (OFC) pose threat

So whichever way (overhead or underground) you get the service, get the connection first, try it then if the service is not satisfactory then complain. Be grateful that Airtel is at least still trying to expand in many cities despite the hurdles. On the other hand, Jio has fully shifted focus to AirFiber.
