Also even with highest brightness picture was very dull..want to understand why people prefer premium brands like LG?

BSNL is working on a new selfcare portal.

A notice on the current BSNL selfcare portal is running.

The last time they did revamped their portal was on 2017. Customers had to re register on their new portal back then. Now they again asking to register on the new portal and eventually it seems all region customers will be migrated to the new portal.

A note is mentioned on their new portal:

Please note that currently this web application is live for Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Goa states only. We would be serving other regions shortly.

It's funny that they haven't mentioned the new portal link anywhere except some not so visible places. I could grab the new portal URL accidentally so sharing it here:

https://wsc.cdr.bsnl.co.in/index

The new portal is not accessible on mobile devices, it rather slaps with a blocked page and asks to download the BSNL Selfcare app from Play Store.

Introducing Single Sign-On

Hello everyone,

We’re thrilled to announce a major enhancement to our forum’s login experience - the introduction of Single Sign-On (SSO) feature!

What is Single Sign-On (SSO)? 🔑

SSO is an authentication method that enables users to securely authenticate with multiple applications and websites by using just one set of credentials. This means that once you log in to your forum account using our sister-forum account, you can access multiple applications within our platform without having the need of maintaining separate credentials for each one.

Note: You need to have an account on the DreamDTH forum and must be logged in to the same browser to enable SSO with your OnlyTech account.

How to use SSO?

  • Click on username, it will open 'Your account' dropdown. Then, select Connected accounts from the menu. Alternatively, you can go directly to the Connected accounts page by clicking here.

Now your DreamDTH forum account has been associated with your OnlyTech forum account.

When logging in, select DreamDTH option and you'll be automatically authenticated based on your DreamDTH login status.

Tip: To associate your both forum accounts, you will need to perform these steps on both forums individually.

How to revoke your granted SSO application access?

If you want to revoke your connected SSO application access with your OnlyTech forum account, visit 'Your account' page, navigate to the Connected accounts section, select Disassociate [SSO] account, and click Confirm disassociation. This will disable your SSO on the OnlyTech forum.

Introducing new modes of content discovery

Hello everyone,

We're thrilled to announce two features that will make it easier than ever to discover valuable and high-quality threads in our forum: Featured threads and Trending threads.

Featured threads 🔖

Numerous threads and posts are created daily, and we understand that some important ones might get missed or overlooked. With Featured threads, we're changing that.

What are Featured threads?

Featured threads are handpicked, high-quality threads that deserve special attention. These threads will be shortlisted by the forum team and highlighted directly at the top of our forum's home page for everyone to see.

The Featured threads will be showcased in a sleek, carousel format with images and a short description. We've also added a new page exclusively for Featured threads, making it even easier to access and explore them. Additionally, they can be found in each forum section too at the bottom (in mobile view) and at the sidebar (in desktop view).

Trending threads 📈

Next up is trending threads. You might remember we already had a trending threads section in the forum list but it has been replaced by an improved version designed to keep you in the loop with what's hot and popular on the forum.

Trending threads is a dynamic list of the most engaging and popular discussions happening right now in our community. By analyzing various metrics, Trending threads highlights the conversations that are currently buzzing with activity and gaining traction.

Where can you find them?

You'll notice Trending threads displayed on the sidebar in desktop view and at the bottom in mobile view. The forum software will automatically pick the discussions that are trending to showcase there. But that's not it, the trending threads will also be tailored specifically for each section which means in telecom section you will only see telecom related trending threads and in OTT section only OTT related trending threads.

We expect these features to improve content discovery and add even more excitement and engagement to our vibrant community.

Is there different FUP limits for Jio AirFiber Home and Business connections?

Can anyone pls confirm what is the FUP for Air Fiber Home connections...

One Jio Sales representative had called me to bried me about the services... and he says there is no FUP for home packages. And I have to choose from Rs 599 / 888 (30 Mbps) and Rs 899 / 1199 (100 Mbps) plan, and data consumption is unlimited.

However he said that for business connections there is FUP of 1000 GB onwards.

Samsung Galaxy Ring

Galaxy ring is a intresting device to invest but should skip 1st generation of any samsung device due to its very high price and there 2nd generation comes with lots of improvements overall.
This will be a good choice to wear at night to track sleep and health activities and it can replace the Galaxy watch in that aspect because who want to wear watch when sleep after whole day we put that on wrist.
