Seeking Help JioFiber vs Airtel Xstream Fiber ONT

Which ONT from Jio/Airtel currently available in the market offers the best coverage?

  • JCOW407 (Jio): A common Jio Fiber ONT

  • GX Titanium 2122A (Airtel): A dual-antenna ONT offered by Airtel.

  • Other Jio/Airtel ONTs: There might be newer or less common models available.

I recently got a Jio Fiber connection with the JCOW414 router, which unfortunately had significant coverage issues. After raising an ONT replacement request, Jio replaced it with the JCOW407. While the coverage is comparatively better with the 407, it's still not ideal for my needs. I recently received a call from Airtel offering their GX Titanium 2122A ONT, which has two antennas and, according to my research, offers good coverage even over longer distances. I'm now trying to decide whether to switch to the Airtel GX Titanium 2122A or if the Jio JCOW407 is sufficient. My main concern is having consistent coverage throughout my home. I'd appreciate any suggestions or experiences with either of these ONTs, or any general advice on ONT selection.

Purchased a Vi sim card recently and I'm done!

Purchased a Vi sim card recently and I'm done.

First of all there is no signal or 1-2 bars, mostly 2G signal, atleast in my area (same situation in my village too which is 35 kms from where I live currently). Complained many times but no action has been taken. They advertise they are adding 50 towers daily, I don't think so.

Secondly, I'm just tired of so many messages. They text 25-30 messages everyday for literally no reason. Plus, the flash messages are so irritating. Whenever you are on something important, a flash message will appear out of nowhere saying — 'To stop flash SMS follow these steps.."
Seriously! I mean seriously!! You are the only one sending Flash SMS!

Will just port it to some other sim card whenever the 90 days are completed.

Wi-Fi 8 technology

The last few major Wi-Fi releases have all been about getting the fastest possible connection. Wi-Fi 8 is about making sure that your connection is stable.

Officially, Wi-Fi 8 is known as IEEE 802.11bn or Ultra High Reliability (UHR) Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). The key word in that mouthful of a name is reliability. Instead of chasing higher speeds, which is what Wi-Fi 7 was all about, Wi-Fi 8 is designed to deliver a more consistent and dependable connection.
