i believe you can do that in via playstore/amazon app store. go to my apps and look for jiocinema select update or
Open your Fire TV interface and head to the home menu. At the top of your screen, scroll right and choose “Settings.” Scroll right again and click “Applications” and then “Appstore.” Now tap on “Automatic Updates” and change it to “On.” All of your apps will now update themselves.

I have heard Kodi has a lot of very useful and interesting addons. Some of them will allow you to watch HD movies and streaming TV channels. I am not interested in them. I won't let bad code run on my network.

I want to know more about legal plugins. YouTube is one I know of. Then there are plugins to download subtitles automatically and likewise.

hi, i too have same setup, but i dont have any streaming addons since all filehosting sites are blocked in india and using vpn on TV is hell....
i only use plex addon since i have freedom of storing all my content on single place and just stream via PMS which is lot easy and meta data and thumbnails are added advantage of plex. may be you can also try it if you have not tried yet.

Breaking Fire Stick Software Update

I am facing an issue on my Fire TV Stick 4k, whenever I am playing any content on Prime Video be it an episode of Inside Edge S02, Jack Ryan S02, Shazam, Bumblebee etc, most of the time the sound/audio doesn't come while the video starts, then I have to press the back button and click on Resume twice or thrice to get the sound working on the content, while sometimes the sound comes on the first play, I have kept my audio settings to as best available and only using TV speakers.

When I am keeping the audio settings to just stereo all the content is working fine without any issues but audio output is really low when compared to Best available on above mentioned content.

I have enabled Automatic frame rate under Display Settings, this doesn't used to happen on my last Fire TV Stick 4k, already tried deregistering the device, did a factory reset but nothing seems to fix this.
