This initiative will not put any load on the railwire fiber infrastructure nor affect its bandwidth since the content that the railway is offering the users is going to be stored on local severs on the platform as well as onboard the train, so basically the content will be streaming on your smartphone or tablet through the dedicated app via intranet not through internet. Which is why you will get buffer free streaming even when the train is passing through a tunnel in a mountain or through areas of no mobile network coverage.
Those who have used Jet connect service while flying in jet Airways flight will know how this works, you get access to limited catalogue of content on your phone when connected to the in-flight wifi without any internet access for purposes like WhatsApp or for streaming videos on Netflix.

Discussion What's your opinion of notch display and multiple cameras on a phone?

No way in hell will I buy a notched phone. Either one with top and bottom bezels (like the Redmi Note 5 Pro and S9) or a full-screen display like the V15 Pro and K20. Even punch-hole cameras like the S10 are unacceptable for me. I want a clean, rectangular, uninterrupted display.

The X-series iPhones have very wide notches, IMO. Waiting for Apple to introduce a phone with a full-screen notchless display and/or an in-display fingerprint scanner. Apple will launch phones with these features many years after Vivo and Xiaomi but it will charge 10x the price. :wall:

This channel tried entering India thru partnership with ITV News Group but things did not come out well. Have been in touch with them on social media since last few years and asking info / getting updates periodically. At few instances they suggested plans going in right direction but in 2019 declined about having any proper deadline or roadmap.

I knew that either talks fell through mid way or they were finding it hard to partner with a local company on mutually acceptable terms thus delaying entry into India as a HD/4K channel
I gave them of idea of shelving current strategy and instead enter indian tv landscape as a service channel by directly negotiating/ collaborating with DTH operators or MSO's. This would be far easy and does not require even various permissions like licence or comply with other formalities needed for starting a satellite channel. They captured my feedback and promised to explore this option in order to mark entry into India. Channels like Shorts TV, The QYOU r doing the same, these r downlinked from satellite by operators but being provided as service channels. Only problem area is that ads are not allowed on them and Insight will have to charge subscription to run a sustainable model

Same was the case in 2007. We use to have RC shop. Out of all the shops only one did BSNL recharge as most BSNL customer here are postpaid users. Even today only 1-2 shops in area do BSNL recharge.
