Seeking Help What is the procedure to disconnect BSNL FTTH + Landline connection?

I had a similar experience with surrendering of my MTNL landline connection during Covid first wave. My landline connection was dead and complaints went unserviced coz the line men wouldn't visit due to Covid restrictions. But the bill was being generated every month without even an active connection. So I decided to surrender the connection once and for all and I had to visit the local CSC and manually submit a hand written application and clear the outstanding amount and get the acknowledgement.
I was relieved once it was gone for good.

OTF Exclusive Pan India Telecom Spectrum holding chart

When spectrum auction will happen this year previous year it was in june
No word on it from DoT yet. Before the auction the government needs to decide on the policy for surrender of spectrum bought in auctions before 2022.
Once the policy is formed, telcos may choose to surrender some spectrum which DoT will have to put up for sale in the upcoming auction so this will take time.
If auction happens this year it may be around October or something and the NIA may be released around August.

Plex - News & Updates

As of April 29, 2025, we are increasing the price of our Plex Pass subscription. While this is pretty common for most subscription services, it’s not for us. We’ve held out for more than 10 years, keeping good company with AriZona Iced Tea (tall-boy legends) and Costco (we love a good deal on a hot dog and soda.) But now, in order for us to keep up with rising costs and remain committed to ensuring both Plex Pass and our support for personal media continue to thrive—it’s time.

The price increase applies to new and existing subscriptions, with the exception of existing Lifetime Plex Pass holders. The good news is that you can still purchase a Lifetime Plex Pass subscription at the current price of $119.99 USD* before the increase goes into effect on April 29, 2025.

New USD prices as of April 29, 2025 will be:
Monthly: $6.99
Yearly: $69.99
Lifetime: $249.99
*Exact pricing in other currencies may vary.

Breaking Vi (Vodafone Idea) website updated with Unlimited 5G Plans

It's Vi priority circle. How come swap is not necessary. Airtel still lacks rural coverage in South Gujarat. Band 5 is not there. Band 3 range is not sufficient. Airtel sticks to revenue generation for the deployment. Airtel is equal to Verizon.

Whenever 100Mhz N41 radio will be out or whenever Vi will have funding for that, Vi will rollout n41-n78 5G directly for Chennai and Bangalore.
Swap is must for Chinese vendors circles like Delhi, Kerala, Chennai or KA. But Gujarat already has Nokia which is allowed to be used in India still fools in Vi decided they would swap Nokia to Ericsson 🤡.

Even financially stable telcos aren't doing this bs here.

Discussion Airtel IPTV uses wifi plan bandwidth & FUP data. Does that affect our overall internet experience?

1. Yes, IPTV consumes data from FUP
2. Both Wired (3.3TB) or Airfiber (1TB) consumes same amount of data for IPTV
3. Avg HD channel bitrate is 4mbps and for Streaming 1hr it costs over 2gb
So we can consume 480 GB data for 8 hrs viewing per day in a month
