Seeking Help What is the procedure to disconnect BSNL FTTH + Landline connection?

I am getting my self rid of this in coming weeks so I can shift to Airtel Fiber as and when it becomes available

In the recent few days the speeds on BSNL is as low as 1-2 mbps and I am unable to do any sort of work due to this issue and hence have to use my mobile data
Yes, BSNL FTTH is terrible from every aspects. The sooner you can get rid of it, the better for you. This is exactly why last year I was surprised and asked you why don't you opt for Airtel Fiber which you mentioned to be present at your place but you preferred BSNL over it then.

TIC Fiber News & Updates

I recharged my TIC fiber today.. immediately after the recharge i used to get SMS from Playbox and Watcho about activation of the respective complimentary OTT plans.. but, today there wasn't any such messages.. i waited for few hours and called the customer care.

they said that JioHotstar is not providing their OTT app in TIC's offerings and hence they are in the process of changing the OTT plans because of which their OTT activation is bugged.. they also said that they will manually activate the plans immediately, however i will not get Hotstar for this month..

Later the packs were activated and when i checked them, it did not have the Hotstar app as part of the subscription. They also said they will try to include Hotstar in coming months and also there will be a change in the OTT bundled offering from next month..

Here the question arises whether Jiohotstar is demanding more money from the service providers to be included in their OTT offerings. And how it is going to affect the service providers and the end users. I am wondering if TIC increase the plan prices or provide OTT as a paid addon from next month..

Jio has been providing their services in Band 3 20MHz since a while in my city. It is still pretty slow (2-12 Mbps, highly inconsistent), whether it is B3 20MHz alone or CA B40+B40+B3+B5, compared to Airtel 4G (10-30 Mbps) alone at Band 1800 MHz and 2300 MHz.

Jio 5G is fine though, I get 300 Mbps on average in my home and more outside.

Do note, I am from a small city in Chhattisgarh - so that might be the reason, since many people are still using 4G.
3-5-40C CA doesn't exist.

As I said in other post, people are still using 4G and it's still quiet good. 5G has less adoption in India and hence Jio has stopped 5G expansion.

Jio is the network of choice for Smartphone users who are early tech adopters. A major chunk of them have upgraded their handsets to 5G to make use of unlimited data.
Since Jio 5G is standalone (SA) and doesn't depend on the underlying 4G like in the case of Airtel and Vi, the Jio 4G network is relatively decongested thus giving higher speeds than competitors.
Nope. Jio 4G is not decongested. It's congested as well. But wherever Jio(or even Airtel) has 20Mhz of band 3 has made 4G great again. 5G adoption in India is quiet low. Airtel 5G is on and off in my experience. Jio 5G is standing at 200Mbps and Jio 4G on band 3+40C is at 200Mbps. Airtel 5G at same place is at 400-450Mbps, despite NSA technology as you said, and Airtel 4G is also quiet fast, as most of the users are on Vi. I mean equilibrium is maintained in Pune.
