Bharti Airtel has launched its end-to-end home surveillance solution called Xsafe. It comes with a range of Wi-Fi-based advanced security cameras and is currently available in 40 cities in India, including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Chennai. Airtel Xsafe offers full-HD recording, cloud storage of video recordings, motion detection, two-way talk, person detection, and more.
“We constantly listen to our customers, and post-pandemic a lot of them have expressed concerns about the well-being of their loved ones while they are away from home. Xsafe is the perfect solution for these customers. It is an easy-to-operate, end-to-end home surveillance solution that allows customers to keep an eye on their loved ones. It will also allow them to talk to those at home from wherever they are through a two-way communication system in the camera,” said Vir Inder Nath, CEO, Homes, Bharti Airtel, in a statement.
Airtel Xsafe comes with an array of Smart features, including person detection, full-HD video recording, cloud storage, motion detection, built-in alarm, and simultaneous viewing. It also allows users to hear and talk with people around the camera using the Airtel Xsafe app. Further, it can send an alert when the camera detects motion or a specific person. According to Airtel, the entire home surveillance system is fully encrypted to ensure privacy.
Airtel Xscafe comes with three distinct camera types – Sticky cam, 360-degree cam, and Active defense cam. For the ongoing festive season in India, Airtel is offering special discounts on Xsafe home surveillance solutions. The Stick cam is priced at Rs. 2,499, while the 360-degree cam costs Rs. 2,999. Lastly, the Active defense cam costs Rs. 4,499.
Customers who pay an annual subscription charge of Rs. 999 will receive the first 1-month subscription for free. An additional camera subscription will cost Rs. 699 per year, and customers can also get free 3-month doorstep service. The company is working on integrating Airtel Xsafe subscription with monthly postpaid or broadband bills.
