One of the leading telecommunication service providers in India, Bharti Airtel, has launched a new data pack for its prepaid users. The new data pack is priced at Rs. 9 and offers unlimited data with an hour of validity. This pack is ideal for users who need to download large files or access high-speed internet for a short duration.

The Airtel Rs. 9 data pack offers unlimited data and comes with an hour of validity. However, the unlimited high-speed data is capped at 10GB, and post consumption of the data, the speed will be reduced to 64Kbps for the remaining time. This pack does not include any calling or SMS benefits.

For the unaware, Airtel also offers Rs. 39 and Rs. 79 data packs that offer unlimited data and come with a validity of a day and two days, respectively. Furthermore, these packs have a fair usage policy (FUP) of 20GB. Post FUP the speed will be reduced to 64Kbps.

Airtel prepaid customers can recharge the Rs. 9 data pack through the Airtel website, Airtel Thanks app, or by visiting any nearby Airtel store or retailer. This data pack should also be available via third-party recharge merchants, including Amazon Pay, Google Pay, Paytm, and PhonePe.

I was shocked how airtel is such generous but later read it's one hour validity pack.

Still generous for people taking online classes or making video calls. Best plan currently is from Jio who offers true unlimited data on ₹49 plan.
