Broadband service provider Bharti Airtel has discontinued its 200 Mbps plans and introduced two new 100 Mbps plans. The new 100 Mbps plans cost Rs. 1199 and Rs. 999. The company has moved the TV and OTT benefits of the 200 Mbps plans to the 100 Mbps plans. The Rs. 1199 Airtel Black IPTV Entertainment plan includes OTT subscriptions and over 350 TV channels, while the Rs. 999 Wi-Fi plan offers access to OTT apps. Airtel no longer offers 200 Mbps plans, and customers seeking higher internet speeds will need to opt for a 300 Mbps plan or above.
Airtel Xstream Fiber discontinued 200 Mbps plans
Bharti Airtel has discontinued its 200 Mbps plans and added its benefits to the new 100 Mbps plans. Earlier, the 200 Mbps Airtel Black IPTV Entertainment Fiber plan cost Rs. 1099 and offered unlimited internet at 200 Mbps with 350 TV channels and OTT benefits, including Hotstar and ZEE5. Similarly, Airtel had another 200 Mbps Wi-Fi plan at Rs. 999 that offered OTT benefits.
These two 200 Mbps plans have been discontinued, and the company has introduced two new 100 Mbps plans that offer the same OTT and TV channel benefits that were available with the 200 Mbps plans.
Airtel Xstream Fiber 100 Mbps plans
Airtel has introduced two new 100 Mbps broadband plans for its Xstream Fiber customers, priced at Rs. 999 and Rs. 1199. The Rs. 999 Wi-Fi plan offers unlimited internet at a speed of 100 Mbps and includes access to over 22 OTT apps, such as Netflix, Apple TV+, Amazon Prime, ZEE5, and JioHotstar. Meanwhile, the Rs. 1199 Airtel Black IPTV Entertainment plan also provides 100 Mbps internet and access to more than 22 OTT apps, but it also offers over 350 TV channels.
The broadband provider also offers a Rs. 899 plan with 100 Mbps internet, which includes 350+ TV channels and more than 22 OTT apps, including ZEE5 and JioHotstar. However, this plan does not include Netflix, Apple TV+, or Amazon Prime subscriptions. Additionally, Airtel offers a 100 Mbps data-only plan for Rs. 799, which is ideal for users who do not require TV or OTT subscriptions.
Availability
The newly introduced 100 Mbps plans are now available, and customers can visit the Airtel website to book a new connection. Customers opting for a 6-month or 12-month plan will get a Wi-Fi router and installation at no additional cost.
