Telecom service provider Airtel has launched its 5G Plus services in Patna. Airtel 5G Plus services are also available in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur, Varanasi, Panipat, Gurugram, and Guwahati. The telco is rolling out the 5G services in a phased manner in the country.
Airtel 5G Plus services in Patna are currently available at Patna Sahib Gurudwara, Patna Railway Station, Dak Bunglow, Maurya Lok, Bailey Road, Boring Road, City Centre Mall, Patliputra Industrial Area, Patna Airport, and other select locations. The company will gradually expand its 5G Plus services in other areas of the city in due course of time.
Patna Jay Prakash Narayan Airport is the first airport in the state to include the Airtel 5G Plus services. Passengers can avail of 5G services across the airport terminal, including arrival or departure terminals, lounges, boarding gates, security areas, baggage claim belts, parking areas, etc.
Bengaluru Airport, Pune Lohegaon Airport, Varanasi Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, and Nagpur Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport are the other airports in India that includes the Airtel 5G services.
“I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Patna. Airtel customers can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting up the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos, and more,” said Anupam Arora, CEO of Bharti Airtel, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha.
Airtel customers with 5G handsets can avail of Airtel 5G Plus services on their existing data plans until the rollout is complete. No SIM card change is required to enjoy the Airtel 5G Plus services.
