Airtel 5G Plus now available in Agra, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, and Prayagraj

Airtel 5G Plus services promise to deliver up to 30 times higher internet speeds than 4G, along with a better voice experience and faster call connection. According to the company, Airtel 5G Plus now works on all Android and Apple supported devices.

Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has announced the launch of its 5G Plus services in five cities of Uttar Pradesh, including Agra, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, and Prayagraj. For the unaware, the Airtel 5G Plus services are already available in Lucknow and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.

Airtel 5G Plus services in Agra are currently available at Kamala Nagar, Arjun Nagar, Avas Vikash Colony, Bodla, Dayal Bagh, Defence Colony, Rajpur road, Gwalior Road, Idgah Colony, Loha Mandi, Moti Bagh, Pushpanjali Vihar, Sanjay Place, Shahaganj, and Taj Ganj.

In Merrut, the 5G services are operational at Bagpat Road, Gandhi Ashram, Ganga Nagar, Indrapuram, Jagrati Vihar, Madhavpuram, Modipuram, Pallavpuram, Ghantagarh, Shastri Nagar, Tejagarhi Chowk, and Begumbagh. In Gorakhpur, 5G Plus services are live at Ajay Nagar, Rasoolpur, Nanda Nagar, Ghanta Ghar, Hazaripur, Azad Nagar, Maitripuram, Shahpur, Padri Bazar, and Haraiya.

In Kanpur, Airtel 5G Plus services are available at Rawatpur, Jajmau, Barra, Avas Vikas III, Kalyanpur, Krishna Nagar, Nehru Nagar, Naubasta, Tilak Nagar, and Panki. Lastly, in Prayagraj, Airtel customers can receive 5G services at Colonelganj, Kamlanagar, Naini, Johnstonganj, Beniganj, Prayagraj railway station, Bamrauli, Jhalwa, Salori, Jhusi, and Phaphamu.

“I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Agra, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Prayagraj. Airtel customers in these five cities can now experience ultrafast networks and enjoy speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting up the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos, and more,” said Sovan Mukherjee, CEO Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Airtel also said it would expand its 5G Plus services across the state in due course of time. Airtel users with 5G smartphones can avail of 5G Plus services on their existing data plans until the rollout is complete. Airtel 5G Plus promises to deliver up to 30 times higher internet speeds than 4G, along with a better voice experience and faster call connection. According to the company, Airtel 5G Plus now works on all Android and Apple supported devices, and no SIM card change is required.
