India’s leading telecommunication service provider, Reliance Jio, has launched three new 5G data booster packs for its prepaid users. The plans are listed under the True Unlimited Upgrade and are priced at Rs. 51, Rs. 101, and Rs. 151. For the unaware, Reliance Jio already offers unlimited 5G data on its 2GB/day data plans and above. The new 5G data booster packs are specifically designed for users who are subscribed to 1GB/day or 1.5GB/day data plans. Please note, these 5G data booster packs will not work on the Rs. 479 and Rs. 1899 plans.

Reliance Jio 5G data booster pack details

Reliance Jio’s Rs. 51 True Unlimited Upgrade plan offers unlimited access to high-speed 5G data and 3GB of 4G data. On the other hand, the Rs. 101 plan provides unlimited access to 5G data and 6GB of high-speed 4G data. Finally, the Rs. 151 plan also offers unlimited access to high-speed 5G data, in addition to 9GB of high-speed 4G data.

The unlimited high-speed 5G data is available to users with 5G smartphones connected to the Jio True 5G network. When the user is connected to the Jio 4G network, it will use the available 4G data quota. Once this quota is exhausted, users will continue to have unlimited 4G internet access, at the reduced speed of 64kbps. However, when the phone is latched on to the Jio True 5G network, users can enjoy unlimited high-speed internet.

Availability

Reliance Jio prepaid users can recharge with the 5G data booster packs through the Jio website, My Jio app, or by visiting any nearby Jio store or retailer. It should also be available via third-party recharge merchants, including Amazon Pay, Google Pay, Paytm, and PhonePe.
