Zomato Delivery Incidents

Well, Well, Well. Instead of directly blaming the delivery person based on a viral video we should try to first get real story out. Yes, what he did was wrong but do you know about thousands of news articles and video stories available on internet which expose how FoodPanda and Zomato are not paying their delivery people salaries for months at a stretch. These poor people have been requesting, searching for help options but no one is hearing their pain. If someone does an act like this in extreme desperation of just fulfilling basic food requirement , will you call him a criminal? Atleast i won't. Just bcoz our law makers, media have turned blind eye to such issues that does not make the problem go away.

These food order companies work on a commission basis, since competition heated up with entry of players like Swiggy capturing major market share + pressure to provide high discounts , these delivery guys are badly hit. Companies aren't able to recover investment hence controlling expenses thru this route. There are videos on YouTube where some of them have admitted of being manhandled or threatened if they raised voice against this.

Have some heart brothers, not everyone is so lucky like us to have all needs taken care of. There are people finding hard to get ends meet despite working really hard bcoz system is unfair to them. Please help such people instead of further traumatizing them.

I am not particularly absolving this individual of any guilt , if his crime is proved then surely punish him but kindly wait for enquiry

You cannot justify this. They have stolen something. Even ola drivers are having problems, so if he hits you out of stress, will you leave him just like that

I am facing problem with zomato two times when I was ordered food. I got less quantity of food from restaurant and and less testy.

I think swiggy and uber food are better than zomato because zomato is worst and very low quality services provider.

I understand your concern about them,what he has done(allegedly) is still wrong.Moreover,we ain't responsible for the ill treatment to which they are subjected.

I have never tried zomato but yes tried swiggy, however i tried purposely to check the cost of food ordering directly from restaurant and from swiggy and swiggy was costly compared to the restaurant delivery - though swiggy states free home delivery.

Also i notices the packaging material used directly by restaurants guys compared to swiggy guys is different - and swiggy quantity is less due to material being smaller.

Among food apps I hate food panda very much as they deliver very late and late delivery by swiggy, I always prefer uber eats its getting delivered soon

I never thought I would ever come across a person with a panda dp hating food panda. :rofl::rofl::rofl:
