I don't see any Bugs fixed in this 9.6.2 update. Again Xiaomi released a Buggy update :( Very upset .. Touch Gesture issues, baterry issues,Now their is no portrait mode in Rear camera its not working at all .
Better not to upgrade to this ROM then.

What about the non-Pro? Any updates?
No idea @JollyLNB bro. Its good if you have Redmi Note 5. It is still on Nougat.

As far as Redmi Note 5 Pro is concerned, I think the development team has rushed with upgrade to Oreo, and hence there are bugs with evey update. Xiaomi was not like this earlier. The most irritating bug is the Video getting Pixelated on all popular apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and even while playing from their own Mi Explorer. I have already submitted Feedback using the MiFeedback App. Gonna do it again!

Hi guys, I did a quick check on video pixelation issue, and surprisingly, the issue is not with Redmi, but with Android Oreo! This problem was/is faced by all leading brands whenever they upgraded to Oreo. I see the same issue being reported for OnePlus, Moto, LG, Lenovo. Also, this same issue was faced by Mi A1 users too when they first got the Oreo update. Here is an indicative link showing th issues faced on upgrading to Oreo:

Its not cancelled they just tested it with some devices like they before on every week Friday release Global Beta n on Tuesday they'll release Global Stable .
Didnt get 9.6.2.0 OTA even today (Tuesday). I am trying to understand, if Xiaomi realises that the update has bugs and is not worth releasing, then what about the unfortunate people who already updated to Stable Beta (on Friday). And, with Anti-Rollback now in the picture, they cant even go to a previous version. Any idea how this is handled?

Also, any details on an upcoming update this friday?
