What about Pixelation in Videos? I observed it exists while playing videos from WhatsApp too. But if the same video is played from Gallery, it plays properly.

I was thinking to buy Redmi Note 5 Pro but i got bad reviews from my friend who is using it currently due to which I am buying Asus Zenfone Max Pro 1 4GB Ram & 64GB Memory one.
Out of this 2 which one is best?

Yes, I have updated to 9.5.17.0
It does have pixelation in Videos on Facebook and Whatsapp. Doesnt occur while playing from Gallery (WhatsApp Videos).

Hoping that Mi will address this issue in forthcoming updates. I havent got 9.5.19.0 OTA yet.

In spite of the issues being reported, I still prefer Mi. I bought my first Redmi Phone in August 2014, that was Redmi 1S with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM for Rs 5999/-. I still use it! The sturdiness of the phone is what I admire. Doesnt need any maintenance, doesnt have cheap display / motherboard or chip. I also bought Redmi 3S Prime and that too is an excellent phone. A 3GB/32GB with Fingerprint Sensor for Rs 8999/- in August 2016 was a worthy buy. Today. my family uses these 2 phones while I use the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Absolutely no complaints on all the 3 phones.

Waiting for the pixelation fix - i'm sure the sturdiness of the phone requires no comments.

Yes pixel issues started from 9.5.13

Hope they fix it on their next update 9.5.20 this Friday.

MIUI calls 9.5.19.0 as a "Beta Stable". Now what the heck is a Beta Stable?
Anyway, yes, I hope pixelation issue gets solved. I updated from 9.2.4.0 after waiting for almost 2 months. I believe the pixelation issue should be easy to fix, btw @SarfaRaZ bro, are u sure they will be releasing updates each Friday? Never seen Xiaomi so aggressive.

All the discussions here are about the update on 9.5.....series. In my RN 4, I got the update of 9.6.1.0 two days ago. I believe 9.6>9.5, is it right?
If so, why the latest Redmi model RN5 (Pro) is behind the older model RN4?

Yes, 9.6 has been released for other phones as well. Not sure why, but we are seeing some issues with RN5P software updates, and so there are many versions of 9.5.x.x itself for this device.

9.6 is scheduled for August, based on few posts I read in this thread.
