Why would people pay so much to get trolled and harassed 😂
It was already a dying platform for artist and businesses. Most small businesses can't cross 3 digits in followers. He just added fuel to fire. You can ask any website builders. Clients want Facebook and Instagram. Twitter is a political tool. He knows party funds to politicians for same. So he is not at a total loss here. But he is pushing away other important personalities and potentially new users. Also where small businesses fails big corporate flourishes. By offending almost everybody. How does he plan to get to ads we'll see? In future I see something like Apple move out. Only likes of Saudi Aramco will stay. But we don't know because usually these platforms carries propaganda value for US government. They might push advertiser's to keep it alive atleast.

So something isn't a safety risk until Musk himself faces threat. For his information, the data shared is collected completely using open source intelligence that is both free and accessible to everyone. If it isn't illegal then allow it, this was what he had claimed with freedom of speech

Twitter apparently suspended its open source competitor Mastodon from the service on Thursday afternoon. Just prior to its suspension, Mastodon (@joinmastodon) tweeted a link to the jet tracking account on its own service, according to archives.

He went from freedom of speech to large scale censorship pretty quickly
